Applications Analyst II Overview

The Applications Analyst II gathers business requirements, conducts needs assessments, and develops functional specifications and build to ensure that developed information technology solutions support business objectives. This level works with minimal supervision and acts as a resource for Applications Analyst I.

• Acts as a resource for Applications Analyst I

• Experience with Epic Beaker AP/CP

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (4) years of experience
• Minimum of 2 (6 if no degree) years of IT experience and/or 2 (6 if no degree) years of Clinical experience
• Solid working knowledge of subject matter
• Works independently and effectively manages time with minimal supervision
• Strong desktop skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook
• Creates and maintains clear, concise documentation
• Collaborates with other team members across the department
• Demonstrates self-direction
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office platforms

• Bachelor's degree
• Healthcare experience or related field

• Epic and/or other relevant certification(s) or, where applicable, other relevant applications experience, per the department and/or position needs for HMH. This includes, but is not limited to, EPIC certifications such as Prelude, Cadence, Willow, Cogito, Ambulatory, MyChart, Resolute, Health Information Management
