Project Manager – NERC CIP Security Integration

Join a leading energy organization supporting the integration of NERC CIP security programs while driving complex projects, regulatory compliance, and enterprise-wide security initiatives across multiple locations.
Responsibilities- Lead the integration of NERC CIP security and compliance programs.
- Develop project implementation plans, schedules, and security system designs.
- Oversee deployment activities across multiple sites while ensuring project milestones are achieved.
- Conduct site walkdowns and assess physical security infrastructure.
- Review management model documentation and maintain auditable project records.
- Ensure compliance with NERC CIP standards, with a strong emphasis on CIP-6 requirements.
- Coordinate implementation activities involving physical access control and video surveillance systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to successfully execute security initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive Project Management experience managing complex, multi-site initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of NERC CIP, particularly CIP-6 compliance requirements.
- Experience with Physical Access Control Systems and Video Surveillance/Security Systems.
- Experience with one or more access control platforms:
- C
• CURE 9000 (preferred) - Lenel

- Demonstrated success managing regulatory compliance projects and maintaining audit-ready documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP Certification.
- Utilities or energy industry experience.
- College degree preferred but extensive relevant experience is valued more highly.
- Hiring immediately to support implementation planning.
- Major planning and build activities begin in Q4, with full implementation launching in Q1.
- Hybrid schedule with employees selecting their in-office days (2 days/week).
- Approximately 25% travel (about once per month) to sites in Texas, California, and Maine. Typical site visits last 1–2 days, with approximately three visits per site throughout the project. Business travel expenses are reimbursed.
This role will play a critical role in ensuring regulatory compliance, driving security infrastructure integration, and delivering successful project outcomes during this large-scale utility integration initiative.
