Technicien Réseaux & Informatique H/F

We are hiring our future Desktop Technician m/f/d in our company MKS INSTRUMENTS based in Beaune La Rolande (France) to join Jon's team!

The purpose of this position is to provide IT support to all customers, internal and external, within the assigned geographic region:
Beaune La Rolande, Saint Ouen L'aumône and Brigueuil (frequent business travels are expected between these locations).

Your missions will be:

• Support for all MKS applications while adhering to established SLA's
• The position will be a business owner's position and the point of reference for the global Help Desk application, and ensure all activities, including phone calls, are well documented
• Work with the global Field Services and also the applications and infrastructure teams to identify, analyze, and resolve IT issues in a timely fashion
• Participation in projects as directed by the IT Field Services Manager
• IT vendors' (local, regional or global) management is a critical aspect of this position
• Cost control activities including the creation of purchase requisitions

You will also:

• Respond to all customer requests for assistance in a professional manner and provide timely status updates within established SLA's
• Identify, troubleshoot and repair software and hardware errors and/or problems. Troubleshoot, diagnose and thoroughly document reported problems
• Make adjustments, repairs and and/or perform preventative maintenance on computers, telephones, printers, mobile devices and other IT related equipment
• Ensure local area network, wireless and VPN access and troubleshoot network connectivity issues
• Manage local and regional IT asset inventory, ensure compliance with MKS standards
• Conduct local and regional new employee IT on boarding activities. Provide office and workstation setup and relocation support, and also train customers on the use of new and existing applications
• Travel as needed to support all sites in the assigned geographic area

Your profile:

• Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
• 3/5 years of experience in IT technical support
• Full Professional Proficiency in English and French is mandatory for this job position
• Good communication skills, both orally and in writing
• Focused on providing excellent customer service
• A proven track record of accomplishments on collaborative projects and strong interpersonal skills are required
