Assistant Vice President, Digital Strategy & IT Governance

Villanova University is hiring an Assistant Vice President, Digital Strategy & IT Governance. The role provides strategic and operational leadership to execute enterprise digital strategy, design IT governance frameworks, oversee project and portfolio management, and align technology initiatives across University Technology Services and the broader university community.

• Lead enterprise digital strategy execution and IT governance design.
• Manage the Project Management Office (PMO) and institutional technology portfolio.
• Oversee strategic evaluation and prioritization of major systems and digital investments.
• Require expertise in enterprise IT governance, portfolio management, and emerging technologies such as cloud, AI, and data analytics.
• Provide leadership in budgeting, capital planning, and financial stewardship of technology initiatives.
• Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields, 10 years of IT experience, and 7 years in progressive management roles.
• Experience with large-scale digital transformation initiatives and senior-level communication skills is essential.
• Salary range is $180,000 to $215,000, based on qualifications and internal equity.
