IT Support, Desktop Support, Systems Administrator, IT Specialist
Location: Malvern
Desktop Engineer
Manage and administer macOS and Windows devices using MDM solutions (e.g., Intune, Jamf Pro, Kandji).
Deploy, configure, patch, and maintain macOS and Windows systems and applications.
Enforce security policies including File Vault, malware protection, and OS compliance.
Provide Tier 2/3 support for Mac and Windows related hardware and software issues.
Automate device management workflows using scripts and profiles.
Maintain device inventory, licensing, and asset lifecycle management.
Collaborate with IT security and service desk teams.
Document standards, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Provide hands-on desktop, laptop, and peripheral support for Windows and macOS.
Troubleshoot hardware failures, OS issues, application errors, and user accounts.
Perform workstation imaging, setup, and deployment for new hires and replacements.
Support printers, scanners, AV equipment, and other office peripherals.
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience administering macOS and Windows in an enterprise environment.
Strong knowledge of macOS architecture, security, and troubleshooting.
Experience with Apple Business Manager and MDM platforms.
Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash or Zsh).
Understanding networking fundamentals and identity management.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Jamf or Apple certifications (Jamf 200/300/400, Apple Certified IT Professional).
Experience integrating macOS with Azure Entra, SailPoint, or other IdPs.
Knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOC 2, NIST, PCIDSS, ISO 270001).
Experience supporting mixed OS environments.
Work Environment:
Hybrid or on-site IT operations environment.
Collaboration with cross-functional technical and business teams.
