UPMC is looking for a NOC (Network Operations Center) Analyst Associate to join their team.
This role will be Fully on-site (WFH technology available for short
-term or emergency needs. Will only be accepting candidates within the PA area since this role will be ON-SITE at our Freeport Datacenter.
The shift will be 7PM-7AM

Description
The NOC Analyst Associate provides first-line operational support in UPMC’s 24x7x365 Network Operations Center, monitoring enterprise data and voice networks and responding to alerts, outages, and performance issues. Working in a large, multi-vendor environment, the analyst uses enterprise monitoring and diagnostic tools to identify impact, perform initial troubleshooting, document findings, communicate status, and escalates issues to senior NOC staff, engineering teams, carriers, and vendors when needed.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor enterprise data and voice networks using Stable Net, Nokia Wave Suite /NFM-P, Splunk, Palo Alto Panorama, and related tools.
- Respond to alarms, outages, and abnormal conditions; assess impact, perform initial troubleshooting, and restore service when possible.
- Provide Level 1 support for switches, routers, firewalls, WAN circuits, and related network infrastructure.
- Escalate incidents with clear technical findings and coordinate testing and repair with network engineers, telecom carriers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Communicatetimely,accurateupdates to technical and non-technical stakeholders while delivering strong customer service.
- Create andmaintainincident records, procedures, troubleshooting guides, network diagrams, and data center cabling/fiber documentation.
- Support network equipment installations, deployments, testing, and other operational projects as assigned.
- Protect confidential information, follow security and incident response standards, andparticipatein ongoing training and mentorship.
