Location: Spring House

Principal Scientist, Data Science

Primary location (flexible):
Titusville, NJ;
Raritan, NJ;
Spring House, PA;
Cambridge, MA; or San Diego, CA

Responsibilities
  • Define an end-to-end vision for medical imaging data products (ingestion, curation, integration, consumption).
  • Lead development and scaling of imaging data products aligned to clinical trial and therapeutic needs.
  • Enable data standards and governance (promote FAIR principles; ensure regulatory, privacy, and ethical compliance).
  • Partner with therapeutic and disease area leaders to translate business needs into scalable solutions.
  • Lead cross-functional execution with data science, engineering, clinical teams, and external partners (CROs/vendors).
  • Modernize imaging pipelines, platforms, and workflows to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Expand the imaging data product portfolio aligned to clinical development priorities.
Education/Qualifications
  • Master’s degree required;
    PhD or equivalent preferred.
  • Advanced degree in Imaging Health Sciences or related field.
  • Background in Radiology, Diagnostic Imaging, Interventional Medicine, Medical Physics, or similar.
Experience/Skills
  • 10+ years in medical imaging and multi-modal data environments.
  • Experience building and scaling data products or platforms.
  • Leadership in cross-functional and vendor collaborations.
  • Hands-on expertise with imaging data standards (e.g., DICOM), PACS, and multi-modal data pipelines.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML/advanced analytics (e.g., computer vision) in imaging.
  • Ability to translate complex imaging data into business and clinical value; strong stakeholder engagement.
