The Plant Data & Shipping Support Specialist role is responsible for supporting daily plant operations through accurate data entry, shipment coordination, inventory assistance, and administrative support. This position works closely with shipping, receiving, inventory, production, and customer service teams to help ensure information is entered correctly, paperwork is routed efficiently, and operational needs are handled in a timely and organized manner.

This position works a steady afternoon shift (2:00PM-10:00PM), after initial training on daylight, and requires work in a plant environment that may be dusty or dirty and physical mobility to include walking long periods of time and climbing ladders.

• Data retrieval, reporting, verification and validation, maintaining a high standard of accuracy in all data entry and ensuring any discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner
• Adherence to data entry standards and procedures
• Provide customer service support by answering inquiries and assisting with logistical coordination.
• Scan, file, and maintain physical and digital paperwork, ensuring it is routed to the correct departments
• Accurately enter loads into the company's data management systems, ensuring correct data is uploaded in a timely manner
• Match pulled tags to packers to ensure accurate shipments and inventory control
• Assist the Shipping/Receiving Manager and Production Inventory Analyst with inventory management and data entry tasks
• Support the accuracy of inventory by verifying items, assisting in tracking, and performing data entry for stock levels
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth operations
• Occasionally walk for long periods and use a ladder safely
• Ensure compliance with all safety and cleanliness standards within the plant environment

• Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in data entry or clerical work, preferably in a plant or manufacturing environment
• Comfortable working in a dusty, industrial plant environment
• Ability to occasionally walk for long periods and use ladder safely
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word), experience with data management systems a plus
• Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize tasks in fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members

• Ability to work with minimal supervision, multitask, meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Ability to adapt to changing environments and assist with tasks as needed.
