R&D Laboratory Technician

Position: R&D Laboratory Technician # 26-14389
Location: Indianola

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Job Description:

• This is an early career position that provides enhanced technical support for one or more project teams concurrently.

Responsibilities:

• Support hardware testing, troubleshooting, and system upgrades
• Quick learner able to multi-task with different projects.
• Packaging systems and components for domestic and international shipping.
• Develop creative solutions to challenging problems, ensuring compliance with protocols.
• Collaborate with a broad group of cross-functional staff including engineers and other technicians.
• Supports testing from concept to V&V and beyond as necessary
• Display mechanical aptitude.

Experience:

• 1-3 Years of Experience

Skillsets:

• Possesses the analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems
  - Required
• Handles multiple concurrent projects, understands priorities of assigned tasks and plans daily activities accordingly.
• Develops creative solutions to challenging problems
  - Required

Education:

• High School Diploma/GED
  - Required Associate's Degree or 2-year trade/military school
  - Preferred.
