Epic Special Education Staffing is seeking a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to support students in K-12 school settings for the school year. In this mission-driven role, you will provide both onsite and virtual ASL/English interpreting, ensuring Deaf and hard-of-hearing students have full access to classroom instruction, school events, and IEP meetings. You'll collaborate with educators and clinicians, adapt services to diverse learning needs, and use secure virtual platforms when remote.

Responsibilities
- Provide accurate ASL/English interpreting for students, staff, and families in K-12 school settings, onsite and virtually.
- Support access to classroom instruction, school events, assessments, and IEP meetings through clear, culturally competent communication.
- Adapt interpreting strategies for diverse student ages, learning needs, and communication preferences.
- Use secure virtual platforms and technology to deliver high-quality remote interpreting services.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school teams to align services with student goals and IEPs.
- Maintain professional boundaries, ethics, and confidentiality in all educational environments.
- Document services and communicate progress or concerns to appropriate school and clinical contacts.
- Participate in training, supervision, and professional development offered by Epic Special Education Staffing.

- American Sign Language (ASL) fluency
