HighPoint Law Offices in Chalfont, PA, is looking to add a hardworking, caring attorney to its team.

This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity to work with families to help them protect their assets and provide for the future of their loved ones. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive estate plans that include wills, trusts, and end-of-life directives. You will also provide legal advice to clients regarding their estate planning needs, tax implications, and other relevant matters.

Responsibilities
  • Drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents
  • Advising clients in matters related to estate planning, tax planning, and probate
  • Researching and interpreting laws, rules, and regulations related to estate planning
  • Working with clients to develop a comprehensive estate plan that meets their individual needs
  • Reviewing and updating existing estate plans
  • Providing guidance to trustees, executors, and beneficiaries
  • Facilitating the transfer of assets and other property
  • Representing clients in cases involving guardianship and conservatorship
  • Consulting with financial advisors and other professionals on estate planning matters
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
  • Bar admission in Pennsylvania (NJ would be a plus)
  • 1-3+ years of experience in estate planning
  • Fluency in estate planning principles and laws and/or willing to learn
  • Strong research and writing skills
  • Ability to interpret and explain complex legal documents
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of fiduciary accounting practices
  • Experience in drafting and negotiating trust agreements
  • Knowledge of / commitment to learn tax laws as they relate to estates and trusts
  • Ability to assess client's personal and financial situation and form a plan accordingly
Compensation

Compensation: $85,000 - $110,000 per year
