Are you a current personal injury legal professional, or do you have an interest in working on behalf of injury victims to get them their due recovery?
Do you have compassion for victims of personal injury cases and want to work alongside a team dedicated to fighting for their clients every step of the way?
Is your approach to case management and communication defined by accountability, clarity, and a relentless focus on keeping clients informed and attorneys prepared?
Consider becoming a member of Cordisco & Saile, LLC, a personal injury law firm located in Trevose, PA.
Co-founders John Cordisco and Michael Saile lead a team of professionals committed to fighting for the rights of accident victims with integrity, passion, and a deep understanding of what it takes to win. Whether it's in the courtroom or the community, Cordisco & Saile's reputation for teamwork, effective communication, and continuous improvement sets them apart as a firm where your work truly makes a difference.
With over three decades of experience and more than $100 million recovered for clients, Cordisco & Saile stands as a trusted name in personal injury law, known for putting people first and delivering results that change lives.
We are seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join our personal injury team. As a vital member of Cordisco & Saile, you will play a critical role in driving cases forward by supporting our attorneys through every phase of litigation with precision, dedication, and a deep sense of ownership. Your ability to manage a growing caseload, meet tight deadlines, and advocate for clients behind the scenes will directly contribute to the firm's mission of delivering life-changing results for those we serve.
What you'll do:
- Case Management: Manage and prioritize an initial caseload of approximately 30+ active plaintiff personal injury cases, with the potential to handle 50-60+ matters as you grow and mature into the role. Ensure every detail is tracked and deadlines are met from complaint filing through settlement or trial. Use Litify to organize and maintain case files, keeping information accurate and accessible.
- Drafting & Filing: Draft and file legal documents including Complaints, Pleadings, Discovery Requests/Responses, and Motions. Handle e-filing in PA, NJ, and Federal courts, ensuring timely submission and adherence to jurisdictional rules.
- Discovery Coordination: Oversee the discovery process, including managing document production, coordinating responses to discovery requests, and issuing subpoenas. Ensure attorneys have complete and organized materials ready for hearings, depositions, and trials.
- Communication & Coordination: Communicate clearly and proactively with clients, attorneys, opposing counsel, and third parties. Provide consistent case updates and support clients through the legal process with empathy and urgency.
- Trial Preparation Support: Support trial preparation by coordinating witnesses, preparing trial binders, and ensuring all exhibits and case materials are ready for courtroom use. Be available to attend trials as needed.
- Independent Workflow Management: Independently manage your workload with minimal supervision, balancing deadlines and priorities for two attorneys while contributing to a collaborative, high-performing legal team.
- Experience: 5-7 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal in a plaintiff personal injury law firm.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with case management software (Litify preferred), and additional adaptability to use technology related to law.
- Organizational Skills: Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to convey information clearly and professionally.
- Court Filing Knowledge: Experience with e-filing in PA, NJ, and Federal courts.
- Team Fit: A team player with a positive attitude, openness to learning new processes, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Self-Management: Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and adapt to shifting priorities…
