The Vehicle Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in enhancing the value of vehicles for auction while ensuring a safe and smooth operation.

• Check-in vehicles by accurately recording and organizing assigned information.
• Thoroughly clean vehicles to improve their appearance and increase auction value (training will be provided).
• Safely operate and move passenger vehicles around the facility and during drive-through auctions.
• Retrieve keys, license plates, and other items from vehicles and store them appropriately.
• Assist visitors by providing helpful guidance and direction.
• Receive training to operate forklifts and loaders on the job.

• High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
• A positive and upbeat demeanor is essential for excellent customer interactions.
• Knowledge of cars or general mechanical understanding is a plus.
• Experience in automotive repair, rental, or construction industries is preferred but not mandatory.

• Ability to follow safety procedures to protect company and customer assets.
• Ability to utilize personal protective equipment (e.g. gloves, safety glasses).
• Recognize and respond to unsafe situations to avoid accidents.
• Handle hazardous materials following industry regulations.
• Consistently lift, carry, and push up to 20 lbs; frequently up to 50 lbs; occasionally over 100 lbs.
• Physically able to bend, squat, kneel, twist, climb, and crawl.
• Alertness to potential hazards from heavy equipment and vehicles is crucial.

• Primarily outdoor work in various weather conditions.
• Stay alert to hazards associated with equipment and vehicles in the work area.
