Overview
Lutron Electronics Co., Inc has an immediate opening for a Logistics Supply Chain Project Specialist. In this position, you would be a key part of the Logistics and Supply Chain teams. A successful Logistics Supply Chain Project Specialist will coordinate global logistics operations while delivering a high level of customer service. This role requires strong knowledge of international transportation modes and a customer-focused mindset to drive efficiency, identify trends, and support continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate is highly responsive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented.
- Own and manage the end-to-end movement of inbound, outbound, and intracompany product across all transportation modes for assigned areas
- Serve as a primary point of contact for internal customers and carriers, providing timely, accurate, and service-focused communication
- Analyze logistics and transportation data to identify trends, risks, cost-saving opportunities, and performance improvements
- Monitor shipments in transit, anticipate disruptions, and take immediate action to minimize customer impact
- Proactively communicate shipment updates, potential delays, and resolution plans to customers and internal stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and company policies
- Collaborate cross-functionally to solve problems and implement process improvements
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on improving service levels, responsiveness, and customer satisfaction
- Analyze logistics performance data to identify trends affecting customer experience, including on-time delivery lead time and service reliability and provide data-driven insights and problem-solving
- Demonstrate high accountability for meeting deadlines, following through on commitments, and responding promptly to inquiries

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or equivalent
- Minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.00
- 3 - 5 years of global logistics experience
- Proven customer service mindset with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of international trade compliance, customs regulations, and documentation
- Proven analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends and opportunities
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to prioritize, multitask, and respond effectively in a fast-paced environment
- High level of accountability, responsiveness, and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of software programs such as ERP, TMS, and Power
BI preferred - Willingness and ability to travel up to 10%
