*** This is an onsite/in-person internship based in Red Lion, PA***
Responsibilities:
- Will undertake, initially, a range of administrative and support tasks for the Large Caliber Ammunition Supply Chain department
- Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors
- Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Build productive internal/external working relationships
- Must be comfortable working autonomously and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment with changing deadlines
- Recommend process improvements identified during the internship
- May also support the documentation and updates of procedures or work instructions
- Support team and follow ITAR, FAR, DFAR, CPSR process with the following:
- Purchase order management
- Track open reqs to ensure timely PO transition
- Run supplier monthly reports
- Run monthly cost savings reports
- Run monthly reports as required
- Maintain Supplier forecasts
Qualifications:
- Required education and experience:
Must be currently enrolled in related Business courses or be within 6 months of graduation;
No prior experience needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to work as part of a team. Oral and written communication skills. Attentiveness. Ability to understand and follow directions.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
- Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
Travel Requirements:
- No or very little travel likely.
