Driver

Full‑time professional driver position located in South Mountain, PA.

Work with Abraxas Youth & Family Services to transport clients and their families to program appointments and other related activities.

• Provide safe transportation to and from the program/facility for clients, staff, and administrative personnel.
• Operate company vehicles in compliance with state and federal laws.
• Inspect vehicles prior to use and perform routine cleanliness checks.
• Assist with minor vehicle maintenance and document service performed.
• Deliver emergency medical care (first aid) if needed during transport.
• Maintain vehicle log and report significant incidents to supervisors.
• Serve as a role model and supervise clients during transport in a therapeutic manner.
• Observe client behavior and intervene according to policy and treatment plans.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Vermont Driver’s License.
• Age 21 or older.
• No DWI/DUI convictions.
• Pass physical exam, pre‑employment drug/alcohol screening.
• Pass federal and state background checks for drug‑related, violent, sexual, domestic, child abuse and misdemeanor offenses.
• Availability for overtime as required.
