Supply Chain Logistics Specialist I, Management Level, Individual Contributor. Flexible Work Option – No remote option; must work at a specified Cox location. Travel % – No. Work Shift – Day. Compensation – Hourly base pay rate $15.10 – $22.69/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on the location and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Job Description

This position is responsible for controlling inventory flow through the shops and Sorting (Inventory Management system) for reconditioning services offered to all internal and external auction customers. Accurately recording parts movement through Sorting is paramount and a daily requirement. Provide accurate movement by file updates in Sorting for body and mechanic (including PSI) services. Work with Procurement/Purchasing staff to assure accurate pricing of parts and supplies billed on work orders.

Monitor repair status, completion timelines, transportation and customer communications related to approved reconditioning estimates, as directed by management. Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience related to automotive parts preferred.
  • Solid computer skills required.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills required.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow‑through required.
  • Experience in installing/ordering automotive parts preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required.
  • Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
  • Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of bodywork, frame damage and minor mechanical repairs.
  • Good organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Customer focused with strong attention to detail.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear.

To be employed in this role, you’ll need to clear a pre‑employment drug test. Cox Automotive does not currently administer a pre‑employment drug test for marijuana for this position. However, we are a drug‑free workplace, so the possession, use or being under the influence of drugs illegal under federal or state law during work hours, on company property, and/or in company vehicles is prohibited.

Benefits

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
