This position is responsible for transporting passengers safely and efficiently between Eastern University St. Davids campus and Valley Forge campus. They will serve as a primary face of customer service, ensuring passengers comfort while strictly adhering to all traffic safety laws.

• Drive a multi-passenger van safely along designated routes or loops.
• Greet riders warmly, answer itinerary questions, and provide local recommendations.
• Collect passenger’s identification for each rider.
• Sweep, vacuum, and wipe down the vehicle interior to maintain an excellent presentation.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip safety checks on tires, fluids, brakes, and lights.
• Use radios or mobile dispatch apps to update coordinators on traffic, delays, or emergency issues.
• Keep accurate track of arrival and departure times to remain strictly on schedule.
• Log mileage, fuel consumption, passenger headcounts, and any road incidents.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required. Any violations impacting the operator’s license will require a self-report to the Department’s Administration within 24 hrs.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and a pre-employment drug screening.
• Willingness to work variable shifts, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Status: Hourly, non-exempt, 16-40 hours per week, 12 months per year.

Full-time shift:
Monday-Friday 40 hours per week

Part-time shift:
Weekends & evenings based on departmental needs.
