Supply Chain Manager
Eaton's Power Components Division is currently seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join the team. This is an on-site position based at our Beaver, PA facility. Relocation assistance will be provided within the US/PR. The expected annual salary range for this role is $130,000 - $190,000 a year. What you'll do:
The Supply Chain Manager will oversee, plan, direct, and coordinate all materials functions for the Beaver facility, including inter-unit, purchasing, inventory control, production control, receiving, stores, and selection of traffic carriers for the plant. Coordinate the procurement of a large variety of complex materials and services to effectively support the production requirements for the plant; oversee the review and negotiation of purchase price, quality, availability, delivery, and other factors necessary to ensure the overall conformance of materials purchased to manufacturing specifications and overall company production objectives;
manage and coordinate materials inventories and services.
- Oversee procurement of all goods, supplies, and services to support plant production cycle requirements.
- Monitor company sales and market trends to forecast inventory levels and future material needs.
- Stay informed on commodity market changes to ensure material availability, competitive pricing, and alternative sourcing options.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop new suppliers while ensuring delivery timelines meet production requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
- Lead the preparation of product specifications, manage bid processes, and negotiate favorable pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
- Oversee purchase orders and supplier agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and prompt resolution of supplier issues.
- Manage supplier quality audit programs and collaborate with suppliers on product specifications and quality improvements.
- Develop cost-reduction and process-improvement initiatives within procurement to strengthen manufacturing support.
- Implement and manage inventory planning and monitoring systems to optimize material availability for production.
- Determine short- and long-term inventory control strategies to support manufacturing requirements.
- Plan, justify, and manage operating budgets and financial targets aligned with business objectives.
- Provide training, coaching, and guidance to supervisors and employees on equipment, processes, and work standards.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures by monitoring employee performance and addressing behavioral or procedural issues as needed.
