Building Mechanic (Full-Time)

Building Mechanic (Full-time) 40 Hours per week. (on call overtime may be needed occasionally)
Tuesday Through Saturday 5am-1pm, unless otherwise discussed Basic requirements: (others may also apply)
-Mechanical aptitude

- Experience with heating, electrical and plumbing is a plus
-Ability to work in indoor or outdoor elements
-Perform routine janitorial duties including mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and event setups to include tables and chairs.

-Lift 50+ pounds
-Work with a team and work independently
-Have reliable transportation
-Weekend availability The candidate must accept and demonstrate the YMCA core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. The candidate must be able to perform physical tasks commensurate with the position requirements.

Rate of Pay - $17-$20 based on experience
All positions require the ability to obtain PA State Police, PA Child Abuse History, FBI Fingerprint and National Sex Offenders Registry Clearances. If you do not have current clearances the Y will help you obtain them.
