Shift: Friday-Sunday 6:00AM-6:30

PMRole Tech IIIFriday-Sunday The Facilities Tech III performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled maintenance, modification and repair activities in assigned maintenance operational areas which may include buildings, conveyors, electrical and performs related work as required. The job will entail preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of heavy industrial manufacturing equipment and facilities. This position will be working with AC/DC controls, PLC controlled equipment, pneumatics and with voltage of up to 480 volts.

Manage minor projects. Provide training to lower grade levels.

PRINCIPAL

ACCOUNTABILITIES & FUNCTIONS: (Important: both Essential and Marginal functions must equal 100%)Average % of Time Essential/Marginal Functions

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMUnder minimal supervision perform skilled and semi-skilled facility maintenance activities including patching and painting walls, patching floors, replacing lights, repair racking, office furniture moves and setups and other facilities related tasks.

EUnder minimal supervision perform skilled and semi-skilled maintenance activities to include troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance on conveyor equipment.

EDocument all work order activities including labor, parts and inventory used and closing of work orders to provide documented records of the maintenance performed.

EFollow lockout-tag out procedures, confined space procedures and other safety and environmental procedures and policies as required.

MComplete pass down logs to inform co-workers of the operational status of the facilities.

ETroubleshoot and repair controls, process controllers, control cabinets, power supplies and all other field devices associated with the conveyor system.

EUse system software to troubleshoot, trend and monitor conveyor equipment.

Develop and implement innovative ideas to increase productivity and/or reliability.

Enter data in the computerized maintenance management system.

Perform minor electrical work such as running conduit and pulling wire.

Perform analytical tests on the various conveyor systems and document results.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

The following are the required qualifications an individual needs in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position.

Education/

Experience:

Associates Degree preferred6-8 years industrial maintenance experience with conveyors, controls and operating systems of a medium to large distribution center or manufacturing operation.

Experience working around pneumatics, AC/DC motor skills and industrial electrical systems
