Job Summary:

The responsibility of the Janitorial and Laundry Associate is to maintain sanitary conditions and or laundry services in assigned areas of the facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Other duties may be assigned.

• Sweep all walkways
• Gather and empty all trash inside and outside of the facility
• Clean, service, and supply all restrooms and common areas
• Clean inside windows
• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
• Run floor machine to clean large floor areas
• Cleans and maintains offices areas, (sweeping, mopping dusting furniture and ceiling vents)
• Clean and maintain cafeteria (sweeping and mopping floors, microwaves, refrigerator, shelving, and empty trash)
• Takes trash to compactor
• Operates laundry machines
• Sorts dirty laundry
• Sorts and hangs clean smocks
• Collects dirty laundry cards around the facility
• Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor

Education and/or

Experience:

Minimum education needed.

Language

Skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents in English or Spanish, such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to complete checklists.
