Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. • Responsible for the washing, drying, folding,ironing and storing of linens for the laundry.
• Adhere toestablisheddepartment and property policies and proceduresregardingguest service standards.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold,ironand store linens according to established procedures.
• Perform routine maintenance on the laundry equipment; includes cleaning dryer traps and greasing flat ironer.
• Maintain production levels according to level of room occupancy.
• Assistvendors who, as part of their service, perform inspections and tests of cleaning agents and operations.
• Handle cleaning products in a safe manner.
• Maintains daily worksheets.
• Must be willing to work any shift.
• Count & process reclaimed items.
• Weigh & count all received linen.
• Keepaccuratecounts of delivered and received linen counts from all receiving departments.
• This is a uniformed position, which requires that team members are in compliance with uniformed appearance standards while on duty.

• No formal education required.
• One year experience as a washer/folder/sorter is helpful.
• Knowledge of operating laundry equipment a plus.
