Position Summary:

Responsible for general housekeeping and cleaning throughout the facility to maintain GMP standards of cleanliness. Job functions are to be performed within quality and production standards.

Essential Job Functions:

Perform scheduled cleaning of restrooms, lunchrooms, training rooms, locker rooms and office areas
Ensure all areas of responsibility are kept neat and clean (mop floors, clean toilets, empty small wastebaskets, wipe down desks, walls, etc.)
Use equipment, supplies, and materials in proper manner and quantity
Communicate with Supervisor regarding any sanitation questions or issues
Responsible for maintaining quality, authentic, safe, and legal products
Any other duties as requested directed or assigned by the manager/supervisor

Job Requirements:

Education and Experience:

High School graduate or equivalent.

Skills:

Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.

Training

Required:

Any specialized safety or other training required

Equipment to Be Used:

All related sanitation equipment

Typical Physical Demands:

Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 55 pounds and heavier weights with the proper equipment
Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb

Typical Mental Demands:

Ability to work under stress with interruptions and deadlines
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
Ability to master basic math skills
Ability to think logically in following procedures and instructions
