Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for supporting project site equipment maintenance through efficient parts management, inventory control, shipping and receiving activities, and transportation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide parts support to the field mechanic and job site Manage parts inventory and maintain accurate inventory records at the job site.

Pull requested parts from inventory and issue parts to mechanics and project teams.

Receive, inspect, unload and stock incoming parts, materials, and supplies

Coordinate and expediate shipping and receiving activities to meet project and maintenance schedules.

Safely operate a company vehicle/truck to transport parts between company locations, project sites, and vendor facilities as needed.

Communicate with vendors, mechanics, project personnel, and internal customers regarding parts availability and delivery timelines.

Keep work area clean and presentable

Answer and make phone calls that deal with parts orders

EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or equivalent required5+ years of parts and/or equipment knowledge

Equipment knowledge preferredundefinedKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong sense of urgency

Ability to meet strict deadlines

Ability to communicate well with all levels of employees within the company

Ability to work under pressure and multi-task.

Ability to maintain confidentiality

Able to work independently and as part of a team Problem solver; can-do attitude

Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing 50 pounds.

Must be able to climb on and under equipment to locate part numbers.

Must be able to look up parts applications by manuals, catalogs or web based systems.

Utilize company software (Viewpoint)
Proficient in Microsoft Office, on computers and other electronic devices

Must be able to work in a high pace and safe environmentundefined
