Ensure the efficient running of the Finance and IT departments by achieving budgeted colleague satisfaction, Guest Satisfaction, and GOP results for each area.

• Align management style, working practices, and conduct with One&Only Reethi Rah’s and Kerzner’s vision, Global Support values, operating standards, and policies. To always comply with Kerzner’s code of conduct.
• Ensure that Policies and Procedures are in place and operating, or that appropriate deviations are requested from the EVP Finance; report known deviations of Resort Policy and Procedures to the General Manager and take action to address them.
• Present and explain variances to financial objectives to the General Manager, Owners, and relevant Department Heads clearly and concisely with recommendations for future corrective action.
• Practice effective cash flow management and communicate all significant cash flows to global support regularly.
• In conjunction with the General Manager, the Director, of Finance is responsible for compliance with relevant contractual and legal obligations, Kerzner International Finance Policies, the Resort Management Contract, and all other Kerzner and One&Only Reethi Rah Policies.
• Personally build clear and open lines of communication with all departments
• Understand and abide by all Government laws relating to the Finance department.
• Be actively involved in maintaining all Kerzner International programs relating to finance.
• Be critical and demanding of operating standards and procedures.
• Monitor and control all financial aspects of the business including the preparation of the annual business plan.
• Implement and monitor programs to maintain the condition of resort assets.
• Actively monitor all third-party contracting with One&Only Reethi Rah. Negotiate the terms and conditions in favor of the resort.
• Actively monitor all IT Projects implemented at One&Only Reethi Rah, which are critical for the benefit of resort operation.
• Analysis and evaluation of all CAPEX project requirements and send for approval to global support.
• Be well-versed and knowledgeable of the hotel's Fire Evacuation and all Emergency procedures as well as health and safety requirements in the Workplace. Ensure colleagues are aware of their duty of care as determined by legislation and that they maintain complete familiarity.

• Where required develop policy, formulate direction and strategy.
• Conduct weekly SMART Plan review with all direct reports to ensure follow-up to achieve the agreed goals & and objectives.
• Actively participate in sales presentations, property tours, and customer meetings.
• Drive GSQ action plan follow-up every month with direct reports.
• Conduct monthly walkthroughs with Engineering, Housekeeping, and DH to ensure action and standards are maintained.
• Deliver a monthly report on Key issues, developments, outstanding works, and personal and financial concerns to GM and cc EXCOM.
• Directly manage certain departments that have been assigned by GM.
