Job Description

We are changing how landscaping is done in the Greater Philadelphia area. As our Field Operations Manager
, you will be the operational heartbeat of our Stewardship, Gardening, and Landscape departments. You won't just manage schedules; you will lead a high-performance team dedicated to environmental stewardship and premium quality.

Leadership & Compensation
  • Competitive Salary: $65,000 - $85,000
  • Direct Impact: Oversee Field Supervisors, Operations Coordinators, and a diverse field crew.
  • Benefits: Health, PTO and retirement
Key Responsibilities
  • Departmental Leadership: Directly lead the Stewardship and Gardening teams while managing the Landscape Department through the Field Supervisor.
  • Operational Excellence: Establish and enforce SOPs to ensure efficiency, safety, and consistency across all job sites.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage departmental budgets, monitor labor costs/overtime, and oversee invoice reconciliation.
  • Quality & Client Success: Inspect projects for horticultural standards, resolve customer concerns, and identify property "enhancement" sales opportunities.
  • Strategic Planning: Lead weekly operations meetings, plan off-season billable work, and develop long-term training programs (Plant , IPM, Sustainable Standards).
  • Daily Logistics: Oversee daily dispatch, adjust schedules for weather/equipment, and ensure the fleet and shop are maintained.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 5+ years in Landscape Management, Operations, or Horticulture Leadership.
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of Ecological Land Stewardship, Fine Gardening, and IPM (Integrated Pest Management).
  • Leadership

    Skills:

    Proven ability to hire, coach, and manage a diverse workforce in a fast-paced environment.
  • Operational Savvy: Experience with fleet management, budget tracking, and field management software.
  • Mindset: A safety-first, "People-First" leader who takes pride in environmental stewardship.
