Residential Manager

Overview

Residential Manager at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Pocono Center oversees group homes for adults with developmental disabilities. The role involves staff supervision, operational management, and ensuring compliance with safety and licensing requirements.

• Provide oversight to one or more group homes, including on-call and on-the-floor support as needed and availability for evening, overnight, weekend, and/or holiday hours.
• Manage operations of assigned group home(s), including finances, staff scheduling, monthly meetings, and other operational tasks.
• Deliver ongoing support, training, and development to staff working in the group home.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and licensing requirements set by Devereux and regulatory bodies.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Three years of supervisory experience in a residential setting.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong ability to work flexibly, patiently, energetically, creatively, and with a sense of humor.
• Passion for working with and helping children and adults with special needs.

Pre‑employment physical assessment required. Significant and frequent walking, sitting, stooping, bending, and standing. Frequent planned outside activities with exposure to sunlight and heat. Speaking and hearing ability sufficient to communicate effectively. Vision adequate for reading and computer use. Good manual dexterity.
