Associate Director, Global Marketing MMRV Strategy
Our company's MMRV (measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella) franchise is a cornerstone of the company's Vaccines business, a top 5 program by revenue within the overall company portfolio, and foundational to public health programs across the globe.
The Associate Director, Global Marketing MMRV Strategy is a key role on the franchise with many exciting and impactful direct responsibilities with senior leadership exposure. The successful candidate will be able to step in and lead multiple work streams to advance the overall MMRV franchise and position it for success for many more decades of sustained business and public health impact.

A selection of key responsibilities are outlined below:
- Lead Varicella launch activities across multiple markets.
- Partner with Regional leads and country teams to drive global MMRV strategy and prioritized deliverables in key markets.
- Leadership of critical franchise operations through supply and demand management activities across Global S&OP and Command Center to address all global supply, allocation and tender strategy, and National Immunization Programs scenario planning as required by the brand.
- Product Development Team sub-team exposure to secure endorsements of relevant global strategies.
- Lead brand execution of L3 framework with Global Cross Functional Team and Countries input.
- Manage global Cross Functional Team meetings.
- Drive global market research initiatives to inform global strategy and/or support local execution.
- Development and maintenance of global promotional content relevant for the franchise.
- Support of the wider Pediatric vaccines franchises as business needs and personal developmental interests align.
Education
- Required:
BA/BS - Preferred:
Masters Degree in Business Administration, health policy, or health economics and related disciplines - A scientific background is also preferred, in either undergraduate or graduate studies
Position Qualifications
- At least 5 years of combined experience in one or more of these areas: access, marketing, health policy, or commercial operations (or equivalent roles)
- Experience with Sales and Operation planning and supply/demand planning (S&OP)
- Ability to anticipate and rapidly respond to market and competitive changes in developing and executing tendering, pricing and brand strategies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to identify creative approaches to market/customer in support of growing the business.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong influencing, negotiating, and working collaboratively in cross-functional and cross-cultural teams
- Strong commercial orientation, financial and business acumen
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Solid project management skills and track record of leading projects to successful and timely completion.
- L3 framework knowledge and application
- Promo development, approval, and deployment at either global or local level
Preferred Experience and Skills
- Vaccines experience
- Demonstrated ability to understand, develop and communicate commercial strategies and messages
- Competitive scenarios and simulation / planning and execution of global business strategies
- Global or Region/Country marketing experience
- Customer and Brand Marketing strategy development experience
Travel
Yes, ~15% of time; ~2 to 4 trips per year to attend regional meetings, conferences, or country market development workshops.
