About Us
Sam's Mechanical is a locally owned, faith-based company proudly serving businesses throughout Lancaster County and the surrounding area. As a certified Uni Carriers, Combilift, and Viper Lift Truck dealer, we provide dependable equipment sales, service, parts, and support while building lasting relationships through honest work and exceptional customer care. What You'll Do as Service Manager
- Communicate with customers to schedule work, provide quotes, and resolve concerns.
- Supervise and schedule service technicians in both shop and field roles while providing the support they need to succeed.
- Train and coach technicians to maintain high standards of quality, efficiency, and customer service.
- Oversee workflow to ensure service jobs are completed on time, within budget, and to customer expectations.
- Collaborate with the Parts and Sales teams to keep operations running smoothly, and customers well served.
- Track key performance metrics and maintain accurate service records to support operational efficiency.
- Assist with budgeting, planning, and staying current on industry trends to help drive the continued success of the service department.
Our Ideal Service Manager
- Industry Knowledge: 3 years of customer service experience required. Experience in the automotive or equipment service industry preferred. Previous leadership experience required.
- Customer Service Mindset:
Committed to delivering excellent service and building strong relationships with customers and team members. - Technology
Skills:
Computer savvy, with experience using CRM systems preferred. - Character & Work Ethic:
Adaptable, trustworthy, dependable, and self-motivated, with a strong sense of responsibility and follow-through. - Problem-Solving & Organization:
Able to troubleshoot issues, stay organized, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. - Physical Requirements:
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.

- $75,000-$85,000/year, depending on experience
