Founding Kid Strong Assistant General Manager

Welcome to Kid Strong, where we help kids win at life! We are thrilled to announce our brand-new center opening in Bensalem, and we are looking for a high-energy Founding Assistant General Manager to help lead the charge. This isn't just an assistant management job; it's an opportunity to build a thriving community alongside our General Manager from the ground up.

As second-in-command, you will foster a culture of learning, deliver an exceptional experience for families, and help execute a stellar launch. If you can juggle a tablet, a toddler, and a high-five simultaneously—while keeping operations running smoothly—we want to talk to you!

You'll report directly to the General Manager, acting as their right-hand partner in running the floor and building center culture. We value transparency, high energy, and extreme ownership. As the Manager on Duty when the GM is off, you will have the trust and autonomy to keep the center running seamlessly, support our coaches, and deliver top-tier customer service.

  • Operational Excellence:
Partner with the GM on daily business decisions, tracking key KPIs, and keeping attrition low.
  • Drive Business Opportunities:
Optimize income-generating programs like camps and birthday parties to maximize center profitability.
  • Keep it Running:
Maintain a spotless center, ensure brand consistency, and manage daily operations.
  • Flex Your

    Schedule:

Lead from the front with shift hours tailored to center needs, utilizing appropriate scheduling tools.
Sales & Community Growth:
  • Drive Membership:
Conduct energetic call drives to new and existing leads in our CRM to boost pre-sale and monthly growth.
  • Finalize Bookings:
Follow up on online self-sign-ups and convert inquiries into active founding members.
  • Be the Face of Bensalem:
Source and attend local events to build brand awareness and drive incremental leads.
Leadership & Team Support:
  • Foster a Coaching Culture:
Practice "see something, say something," assessing coaches based on the Kid Strong Coach DNA.
  • Train & Develop:
Partner with the GM to onboard, train, and evaluate coaching candidates while managing ongoing staff development via Learn Upon.
  • Stay Connected:
Maintain high-level, professional communication via Slack and Email with co-workers and HQ.
Coaching:
  • Be Hands-On:
Deliver our world-class curriculum focusing on Brain, Physical, and Character development for kids aged 15 months to 11 years.
  • Stay Active:

Coach 5–10 classes a week in a physically active environment, moving equipment up to 25 lbs and physically guiding children safely.
  • Certification:
Earn Coach Certification through HQ Training and log class data using the KS Coaches App.
Who You'll Be Interacting With:
  • Mentor & Lead:
Act as a leader and mentor to coaching staff, serving as the primary Manager on Duty when the General Manager is off.
  • Build Community:
Connect closely with center families and team members to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Strategic

    Collaboration:

Work hand-in-hand with the GM, leadership, and the Kid Strong HQ team.
We Want to Hear From People Who Have:

Leads by example, upholds high standards, and embodies the Kid Strong culture.
    • Goal-Oriented Performer:
High energy, engaging, and clear communicator who acts like a "Cruise Director meets Camp Counselor."
    • Coachable & Low-Ego:
