This dynamic individual takes full ownership and drives the mission to ensure Morgan's cargo not only meets but surpasses every internal and customer quality standard — delivering excellence with every shipment!

• Promotion Eligibility: Team members can be promoted to Zone Team Lead only after meeting the primary qualification criteria.
• Probation Period: Newly promoted Zone Team Leads will undergo a 2-month probation period.
• Performance Review: At the end of probation, a 30-minute review/test will be conducted by the Production Manager to confirm permanent placement.
• Leadership Participation: Zone Team Leads must actively participate in weekly Leadership meetings and Gemba Walks.
• Leadership Development: Must complete the Leadership course as designated by Management.

• Safety Observation: Zone Team Leads should actively monitor safety behaviors of all team members within their zone and evaluate workplace conditions. Any issues needing support must be communicated to the Supervisor and Maintenance as necessary.
• Coaching & Escalation: For example, if a team member is not wearing required gloves, the Zone Team Lead must address the behavior through coaching and mentorship. If the behavior continues, escalate the issue to the Supervisor.
• Maintenance Requests: If equipment like an electrical cord is damaged, the Zone Team Lead must submit a maintenance request promptly.
• Equipment Inspections: Ensure daily inspections of cranes, forklifts, and other required equipment are completed at the start of every shift.
• AM Calendar Management: Oversee that Autonomous Maintenance (AM) calendars are completed daily and submitted to the Supervisor monthly.
• BBS Audits: Conduct Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) audits weekly and submit the results to the Supervisor.

• Zone Team Lead should be able to read and understand the following thoroughly and be able to train team members for the same.
• Work Order
• Bill Of Material (BOM)
• Data Releases
• Drawings

• Scrap Sheet Management:
  Zone Team Lead should ensure scrap sheets are accurately completed and submitted daily and provide training to team members on this process.
• Parts Request Compliance:
  Ensure Parts Request Forms are submitted within defined process times by shift and product line.

• Andon Schedule & TAKT Understanding:
  Zone Team Leads should have a thorough understanding of the Andon schedule and daily TAKT time.
• Work Content Management:
  Ability to comprehend work content for each unit and effectively manage or assist labor to complete units within the TAKT cycle, ensuring 100% daily schedule attainment.
• Efficiency Calculation & Improvement:
  Responsible for calculating efficiency within each work center in their zone and implementing corrective actions to improve any substandard performance.

• Labor Coordination:
  Zone Team Lead should communicate with other Zone Team Leads to understand labor requirements and adjust labor based on the Andon schedule, considering the skill sets of team members.
• Meeting Leadership:
  Zone Team Leads should lead weekly PPS meetings and have a full understanding of all data displayed on the board.
• Data Analysis & Problem Solving:
  Zone Team Lead should analyze efficiency data and proactively address work centers performing below plan.
• Skills Management:
  Zone Team Lead should collaborate with the Supervisor to plan, manage, and maintain Zone skills matrices, identifying gaps and implementing corrective actions.

• Tool Management:
  Zone Team Leads must ensure team members have all necessary tools within the work center to perform their jobs efficiently and are responsible for tool maintenance to prevent downtime during shifts.
• Tool Vending Operations:
  Zone Team Lead must be proficient in managing tool vending via MSC machines and understand their operation.
