Inbound Team Lead

What you will be doing

• Lead mentor and develop a team of inbound associates
• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals performance expectations and updates
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment
• Oversee the receipt storage and distribution of inbound goods
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of shipments
• Monitor and manage daily inbound workflow adjusting resources as necessary to meet operational targets
• Implement and maintain standard operating procedures SOPs
• Track key performance indicators KPIs and provide regular performance reports
• Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members
• Work closely with other departments including Outbound and Inventory to coordinate activities and resolve issues
• Communicate effectively with management and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
• Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to inbound shipments
• Implement solutions to improve efficiency and reduce errors

• Bachelor s degree and at least 2 years of experience in distribution, warehousing or logistics and Supply Chain environment at least 1 year of direct leadership, indirect leadership
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively, diagnose problems and identify and lead the appropriate solutions
• Ability to manage several priorities simultaneously - results orientation - while retaining all information
• Bias for action, strong work ethic and desire to achieve excellence
• English proficiency
