As an Educational Treatment
Supervisor, you manage and direct the activities of the learning center, including providing supervision to staff assigned to the learning center unit . You will ensure that all Abraxas policies and procedures are followed. You will serve as the primary role model for employees by leading, directing, guiding and supporting them in such a way that promotes their growth and development.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Maintain employee schedules that provide adequate coverage to ensure safety for both clients and employees
• Develop and implement systems to organize and monitor learning center work activities
• Structure, implement, and facilitate new employee on-the-job orientation.
• Conduct effective supervisory conferences and performance evaluations with employees, document the content of such meetings and evaluations, and provide feedback to them
• Schedule employee training to ensure that all mandatory training requirements are met
• Provide ongoing effective supervision to learning center unit employees and monitor activities
• Demonstrates appropriate use of Safe Crisis Management (SCM) and provides effective supervision to staff regarding the use of SCM

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in education or human services field and one-year experience in residential treatment is preferred

OR

• Associate’s degree or (sixty) 60 credit hours from an accredited college/university and three (3) years’ work experience with children.

Other

Qualifications:

• At least twenty-one (21) years of age
• Must have a valid Driver's License
• Physical exam that includes TB and drug testing.
