Operate CNC horizontal and vertical machining centers to manufacture precision components according to engineering specifications and quality standards.

• Set up and operate CNC machining equipment including horizontal and vertical machining centers
• Execute machining operations: turning, boring, drilling, tapping, thread-milling, profiling, and contouring
• Monitor and adjust cutting parameters, speeds, feeds, and tool offsets to maintain dimensional accuracy
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments
• Interpret technical drawings and work instructions to complete manufacturing tasks
• Conduct routine machine maintenance and calibration procedures
• Maintain statistical process control documentation and quality records
• Troubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actions
• Handle material loading/unloading operations safely

• High school diploma plus vocational/technical training or 7+ years machining experience
• Proficiency with CNC machine tool operations and programming
• Advanced knowledge of machining processes and cutting tool applications
• Mathematical competency in algebra, geometry, and trigonometry
• Blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills
• Experience with G-code and conversational programming
• Familiarity with various materials: steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, plastics
• Physical capability to lift 40 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Journeyperson certification or NIMS credentials preferred
