Maintenance Building & Facilities Technician

1st shift (Monday‑Saturday)

• Foaming and scrubbing of production equipment, floors, walls, etc. (wet clean) according to predetermined procedures.
• Work with pre‑mixed chemical cleaning agents to clean, sanitize, and return production facilities to operation.
• Sanitize all surfaces after clean for production runs.
• Interior infrastructure cleaning of production and non‑production areas.
• Self‑check work prior to official pre‑op inspection.
• Participate in pre‑operation inspections of equipment after cleaning.
• Help maintain a safe and food‑safe environment through teamwork and proper food sanitation training.
• Sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, and cafeterias.
• Sweep and mop.
• Work closely with team members to ensure a quality clean production surface.
• Assist teammates on food production line—teamwork is necessary for all projected work.
• Maintain and follow GMP protocols.
• Lock out equipment being worked on.
• Wear provided PPE when necessary or directed for the completion of work.

• Previous sanitation or housekeeping experience is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to show judgment and to work independently.
• High integrity required.

• Experience with cleaning commercial equipment is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to work with other crew members.
• Must be able to listen to customer requests and follow supervisor instructions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in hot conditions.
