Hand Repair Operator
Full time – 5/8 schedule (7:00A–3:30P). In person only. Located at our Quintech Electronics and Evertz USA headquarters in Indiana, PA.
Responsibilities- Perform hand soldering and rework of through‑hole and surface‑mount components.
- Identify and repair manufacturing defects, including solder bridges, open circuits, and component misplacement.
- Inspect and verify assemblies for quality and conformance to specifications.
- Utilize magnification tools, microscopes, and other inspection equipment.
- Follow detailed work instructions, schematics, and drawings.
- Maintain accurate documentation of repair and rework activities.
- Adhere to company quality standards, ESD handling procedures, and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve technical issues.
- Assist in process improvements and continuous quality initiatives.
- High school Diploma or GED.
- Experience with soldering, desoldering, and inspection process in compliance with IPC standards.
- Strong attention to detail and technical dexterity.
- 2+ years of experience in hand repair, rework, or assembly within an electronics manufacturing environment.
- Results oriented, self‑motivated, and a team player.
- Hours of work: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday.
