We have an exciting opportunity for a Chemist to join our Langeloth Metallurgical Facility in Langeloth, PA. In this onsite role, you will be responsible for performing routine and non-routine chemical and metallurgical analytical tasks, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, and documenting findings.

• Oversee and supervise the daily operations of the QA Laboratory and personnel.
• Perform analysis of molybdenum products using various methods, such as ICP (Inductively Coupled Plasma), AA (Atomic Absorption), gravimetric, and colorimetric procedures.
• Prepare samples, solutions, compounds, and reagents for laboratory procedures.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation and equipment, ensuring they are functioning correctly and calibrated.
• Conduct quality control tests to ensure raw materials and finished products meet required standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with Operations and Process Engineers on experiments, product development, and production processes.
• Write technical reports, maintain detailed records, and prepare specifications for processes and tests.
• Adhere to occupational hazards and safety precautions, ensuring a safe laboratory environment.
• Work with Quality department to develop and document ISO compliant standard operating procedures, work instructions and forms.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 5 years of laboratory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Bridge and SAP software.
• Ability to learn plant operational methods and practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• ISO Internal Auditor certification.
