Production Leader

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and dependable Production Leader to oversee daily operations in our packing department. This position plays a key role in coordinating workflow, ensuring product quality, and supporting the packing team in a fast-paced production environment. The Packing Lead serves as the first point of contact for team members and works closely with supervisors to meet production goals.

• Coordinate daily packing activities and assign tasks to team members
• Ensure finished products are packed, labeled, and sealed according to company standards
• Train, mentor, and support packing staff in proper techniques, safety, and quality practices
• Monitor product quality and immediately address nonconformities
• Maintain accurate counts, documentation, and production records as required
• Assist supervisor with scheduling, planning, and communicating priorities
• Promote a clean, organized, and safe work environment; reinforce food safety and sanitation protocols
• Serve as a communication link between the team and supervisor, promptly reporting issues or concerns
• Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities for efficiency and quality gains
• Perform hands-on packing work as needed to meet production demands

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-3 years of experience in packing, manufacturing, or food processing (leadership experience preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and work effectively with a team
• Good communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
