Machine Operator

Vallorbs, a local manufacturer, is looking for a Machine Operator to operate a variety of machines to make quality parts for the customer.

Schedule M-F; 6:00am-3:30pm

$16.50/hr to start

• Operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
• Read and interpret basic blueprints and diagrams
• Adjust machine settings to complete tasks according to specifications in timely manner
• Ensure that the machine is maintained for the highest level of productivity and quality
• Perform in-process inspections on components being produced
• Complete required logs and shop tracking cards
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safety of designated production area

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Mechanical aptitude and work experience as a Machine Operator preferred
• Understanding of tolerances and dimensions
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions
  
  Ability to clearly communicate with co-workers and supervisors
• Able to identify inaccuracies in production material and/or processes
• Ability to stand for long periods of time during an 8-10 hour shift
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. periodically
