Summary
Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc. producer of Yellawood brand Pressure‑Treated Pine is seeking forklift operators. This is a full‑time position offering competitive pay and a full benefits package.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDrive an industrial forklift truck to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials.
- Moves levers and presses pedals to drive the truck and control the movement of the lifting apparatus.
- Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transports the load to a designated area.
- Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering the lifting device.
- Inventories materials on the work floor and supplies workers with materials as needed.
- Keeps a record of inventory.
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Must have previous forklift experience.
- Lumber experience a plus!
