The Machine Operator is primarily responsible for running surface mount machines in the New Build Department.
Shift: Monday to Thursday 5AM - 3:30PM
Primary Duties- Learn & follow detailed work instructions
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related duties that may be outside of assigned priorities listed below
- Load, Operate and monitor surface mount machines
- Perform basic troubleshooting of machines
- Complete documentation as needed
- Count finished goods and supplies as needed
- Participate in various improvement activities
- Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with coworkers
- Ability to work as a team member
- Must be safety conscious
- Ability to stand all day, stoop & bend and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Attention to detail and good with numbers
- Commitment to meeting production demands and quality requirements
- Understand Customer requirements as they relate to their job function
- Ability to identify and address and/or communicate any potential non-conformances
- Ability to get to work on time with minimal absences
