Position Overview

The Plant Operator will operate and assist in maintenance of plants at our aggregate quarry in Mount Holly Springs PA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Adhere to and follow all safety rules and regulations of MSHA/OSHA/DOT and Pennsy Supply, Inc.

* Conduct daily safety assignments (area inspections, pre-shifts, JSA's, TRACK, etc.).

* Start crushing, screening, conveying and all related equipment.

* Daily safety check of the plant.

* Ensure proper size and quality of the product.

* Maximize production of the product.

* Fill in as needed at any position in the quarry and asphalt operation.

* Communicate maintenance needs on a daily basis; turn in maintenance requests daily - fill out work orders for maintenance required.

* Keep plant area neat and organized.

* Check oil levels and grease all equipment on the plant as required. Complete daily and weekly checklists.

* Verify all equipment is functioning properly.

* Maintain crusher settings.

* Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

* Must submit to a drug screen and criminal background check.

* Current driver's license.

* Able to work various times during day, night or weekend hours.

Education/Experience

* High school Diploma or GED equivalent.

* Previous experience perferred.

* Computer experience helpful
