Our client in Leola, PA is seeking a Machine Operator to provide cross-functional support across Tooling, Blending, Grinding, and Quality Assurance (QA). This individual will also perform the duties of a Lead Operator in Production—overseeing output, ensuring specifications are met, and maintaining overall product quality. The Utility Lead will serve as a fill-in Supervisor when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Tool and Die with changeovers and line start-ups
• Support Maintenance with minor equipment repairs
• Perform duties of a day or night shift Lead Operator as needed
• Make heat adjustments on extruders to maintain quality standards
• Maintain Ink Jet printers and select proper prints
• Provide coverage and breaks for line operators
• Complete Production Pre-Start Checklists and start up lines efficiently to produce quality product
• Ensure tooling is stored correctly and work areas are organized
• Promote safe work practices, positive attitude, and company goals
• Select proper silo and material for product runs
• Assist with onboarding and training of new hires in Production
• Support daily production process improvements
• Perform Blending/Grinding or QA Technician duties as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED preferred
• Must be qualified at the A Operator level
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and positive attitude
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Associates Degree in Electronics or equivalent training (Fundamentals of PLCs, Programming Controllers, Troubleshooting and Repair of PLCs) preferred, with 3+ years of practical electronics experience
