Location: New Columbia

Job Summary

The Machine Technician is responsible for producing high-quality products through accurate, timely, and efficient manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate thrives in environments where safety, quality, service, and cost are the highest priorities. The role involves various rotating duties related to all manufacturing operations, supporting managers and plant staff to meet operational goals, and contributing to a highly motivated and positive environment.

The Technician must be familiar with all areas of the process and any off-line equipment associated with the production line, operate safely, and monitor product quality.

Schedule:

4 weeks on days 6:45 AM to 6:45 PM; 4 weeks on nights 6:45 PM to 6:45 AM.

Essential Duties
  • Assure all activities are performed safely.
  • Produce high-quality products consistently.
  • Generate timely, consistent reports.
  • Communicate positively with co‑workers and leaders.
Qualifications Required
  • H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or safety‑sensitive role.

  • Demonstrated intermediate communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong planning, prioritization, organizational, and reporting skills.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve production challenges.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Google Suite.
  • Familiar with standard manufacturing concepts, practices and procedures.
  • Mathematical skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, use whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; compute rate, ratio, and percent; read and interpret measurements.

Compensation

Base hourly rate: $30.19.

Base salary and/or rate of pay ranges listed are exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. Individual compensation offers will be determined based on geographic location, relevant candidate experience and skill, education, and/or qualifications.
