Location: Burgettstown
Job Summary: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a wide range of tasks to support the company's operational needs. This includes executing routine maintenance, diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems, and installing new equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technical principles and be proficient in using a variety of tools and diagnostic equipment. They must be committed to maintaining a safe working environment and have excellent problem-solving skills.
Major Responsibilities/Activities:
- Implement preventative and predictive maintenance plans for existing and future manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment consisting of a variation of PLC control systems (Beckhoff, Siemens, and AB), sensors, electric motors, servo motors, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- Work with programmers/engineers in Germany should the need arise for outside support
- Enter maintenance and troubleshooting information into a computer program for maintenance history
- Work with Engineering to recommend, document and order critical spare parts essential for daily operations.
- Work with Engineering on R&D project installations/monitoring.
- Fabricate repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment as needed.
- Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with safety procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Must be familiar and comply with all safety rules.
- Entry of work orders into the CMMS system
- Others as assigned.
- Must have at least 5 years' experience as a maintenance technician
- Must have PLC experience
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to read electrical schematics/diagrams
- Ability to work in a team environment Maintenance Technician

- Experience with pneumatics required
- Experience with automated systems required
- MIG welding experience a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Be able to safely lift or move at least 50 lbs.
- Be able to safely climb stairs or ladder.
- Be able to work in cold or hot working conditions
- Must be able to Bend, Stoop, Squat, Kneel
