Quality Technician

Our client, a leading organization in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail‑oriented Quality Technician to join their team. As a Quality Technician, you will be an integral part of the Quality Assurance/Food Safety department supporting production, sanitation, and compliance efforts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to quality and safety standards.

  • Location: Allenwood, PA
  • Pay Range: $47,840 – $54,080
  • Shift: Monday – Friday; 8:00‑12:00 or 9:00‑1:00
  • Job Type: Permanent
What's the Job?
  • Perform routine quality inspections on raw materials, in‑process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with company and customer specifications.
  • Conduct inspections and testing as required by internal procedures, customer requirements, and food safety standards.
  • Monitor product quality, packaging, labeling, and overall condition throughout production.
  • Document inspection results, test results, quality checks, and product observations accurately and timely.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, food safety programs, audits, and employee training related to quality, hygiene, and food safety standards.
What's Needed?
  • Experience in quality roles within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Experience working in a food facility with a GFSI scheme certification.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and food safety requirements applicable to food manufacturing.
  • Ability to work in a production environment and follow all safety, hygiene, and food safety requirements.
  • Ability to complete accurate documentation and communicate quality concerns promptly.
