Manufacturing Operations Analyst Responsibilities
- Remove barriers by working with functional support groups.
- Assess and implements ways to improve processes, including data keeping and stream-lining communication.
- Continuously monitor and track the progress of work through various stages of production.
- Identify production inefficiencies and suggest potential improvements to products or processes.
- Support colleagues with an open-door policy to take part in seek, speak, and listen techniques.
- Remain flexible due to varying project requirements.
- Review, monitor, investigate, and update issue items with the latest pertinent information.
- Lead conversations and tasks while providing knowledge and commitment to production.
- Take part in team efforts to work through Rapid Systematic Problem Solving or Boeing Problem Solving Metrics.
- Provide hands on targeted, task level coaching on harness repair, connector pinning, wire routing, bonding/grounding, and installation best practices.
- Observe technicians during tasks to identify skill gaps, unsafe practices, and opportunities to improve workmanship and first-time quality.
- Capture and distribute lessons learned, common wiring/harness failure modes, and effective troubleshooting techniques to reduce repeat defects.
- 2+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Experience using Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Experience partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives
- Experience in a role that requires effective communication with employees and/or peers.
- Experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role
- Ability to work any shift assigned
- Experience analyzing and interpreting data from multiple sources
- 5 + years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of experience working in a production environment
- Experience implementing lean manufacturing principles in a production system
- Experience in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment
- Experience with the Boeing Production System
- Experience working with ESD, IPC J-STD-001 and IPC-A-620 standards
- This position requires travel up to 10% of the time.
- Shift: Availability to work any shift as needed.
- Relocation:
This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
Pay range: $74,800 - $101,200 USD.
