Description:
Position Summary
The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for managing the accurate and timely flow of all incoming and outgoing product. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to operate a forklift safely, and coordination with internal teams and external carriers to ensure inventory accuracy and on-time shipments.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks safely and efficiently
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips
- Prepare, stage, and ship outgoing product according to shipping schedules and customer requirements
- Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment in compliance with safety standards
- Manage and maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing inventory
- Ensure product is properly labeled, stored, and handled to prevent damage
- Identify and report discrepancies, damages, or shortages promptly
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping and receiving area
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to obtain fork truck certification after start date
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to read shipping documents, bills of lading, and packing lists
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation.
- This position works in the companies ERP software, Global Shop, to receive purchase orders.
- Ability to lift, move, and stack product as required (with or without accommodation)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Work Location:

Job Type: Full-time - Regular work hours: 7am - 3:30pm M-F
Pay Range: $21 - $23 / hour depending on experience
