Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Process Technician for a contract position with a Leading Life Sciences Company located in Millersburg, PA. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.
As a Senior Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance team, ensuring the flawless operation of production equipment. This role involves performing preventive maintenance, intervening in production issues, and engaging in continuous improvement projects within a cGMP manufacturing environment. This position is for the weekend night shift (Friday - Monday, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM).
Responsibilities:
- Perform all actions related to the preventive maintenance program
- Intervene in production issues related to mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance
- Perform tooling changes, machine setups, and make in-process adjustments
- Rebuild, calibrate, and configure sealing components and controls
- Document clear and detailed information regarding machine downtime, repairs, and critical process controls
- Perform HVAC, Boiler, Generator and electrical troubleshooting
- Engage in continuous improvement projects
- Participate in equipment installation
- Test equipment to ensure efficiency and performance needs are met
- Maintain, repair, and rebuild various production machines and equipment
- Follow all safety and cGMP requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production or lab setting or related field
- Ability to work in a fast-paced controlled cleanroom environment 8 to 12 hours a day, with additional overtime as required
- Ability to use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and understand chemical hygiene
- Ability to diagnose and repair a wide variety of equipment based on industrial process controls and pneumatics, including PLC Programmable Logic Controllers, reed switches, valves, relays, temperature controllers, and solenoids
- Production experience in a CGMP or Lean manufacturing environment
